Resilience

How do we attain high levels of performance, while maintaining mental and emotional well-being?

In order to be effective at our jobs and in our lives, it is essential that we learn to recognize and address the symptoms of stress.

Many of our work and personal demands challenge our nervous system’s ability to operate optimally, which in turn has a significant impact on our mental health. If we don’t learn the necessary skills to support balance in our nervous system, we may end up in a mental health crisis, suffering from anxiety, depression, or addiction — or at the very least, not being able to find enough joy in life.

This session will be a combination of lecture and experiential exercises. We will discuss practical ways of assessing your stress level and learn the essential skills for emotional well-being. Using evidence based techniques from behavioral science and neuroscience, we will train your brain through attention training, learn behaviors to regulate your nervous system and emotions, and begin to build the social resources necessary for resilience and mental health.

Use trained attention to understand cognitive and emotional processes. This knowledge provides the individual with the ability to regulate and master emotions, and ultimately act in ways consistent with one’s values and self-respect even during times of disruption or change.

Outcomes:

  • Learn how to work through setbacks, stress, and change
  • Learn how to cultivate a growth mindset and develop self-compassion
  • Understand the role of stress and how to keep yourself in the zone for optimal functioning

This program can be customized to meet the unique needs of your organization.

Mindfulness Advantage in Women’s Leadership

A corporate program designed to explore and cultivate ways for women to show up as more courageous, authentic, and skillful leaders.

As a community of women, we will explore cultural myths and biases about females in the workplace. Together we will create a new vision of possibility & strength with the resources needed to actualize this vision.

Our focus is an internal (r)evolution. We participate in the evolution of possibility by building the internal scaffolding of leadership potential through self-awareness and inner wisdom. This isn’t about gender prioritizing, but a movement toward inclusive leadership that makes room or courage alongside compassion, competence alongside cooperation, and confidence alongside connection.

Through mindfulness practices, group exercises, somatic exploration, and writing exercises, each attendee will leave feeling more connected to themselves and the commitment needed to actualize a new paradigm of women’s leadership.

Practical tools will be woven throughout our time together that can be used immediately in the workplace and beyond.

  • ½ day and full day workshops for women at all leadership levels
  • Keynotes
  • 1:1 or group mindful leadership coaching (via video or in person)
  • In depth 3 – 9 month group coaching intensive (in-person and virtual)
